Cocktail dress Drama

After a long and tiring project of creating the black cocktail dress I finally finished the sketchbook and the dress its self, despite its lack of clean cut perfection. In this time I realized that I am not a pattern cutting type of person and I am more going to focus on the more abstract style of work where I just experiment and throw material on a mannequin and see what happens. That being said it was a more enjoyable project than some of the others that I have had to do before. I am looking forward to finally starting my NP in which my theme is 1800's London Crime and Poverty. Crossing my fingers that it will go better than the Cocktail dress project. Ill be uploading images from my cocktail dress very soon.
